Major parts of Vøringsfossen opening for the summer season on 8 July

Major parts of Fossatromma, including parking, footpaths and viewing platforms, will then be open to everyone.
Parts of the parking area and toilet facilities at Fossatromma will continue to be closed until the entire facility opens on 18 September.
Tesla will also open its 16 charging stations where everyone now may charge their vehicles while visiting the facility.
Over the past year there has been considerable construction activity at Fossatromma, the area that is now being developed west of the Vøringsfossen waterfall. The work will continue until the autumn of 2024.
The Norwegian Public Roads Administration kindly asks everyone to respect the closed construction area, for safety reasons.
