The toilet facilities are closed for the winter from beginning of October to the beginning of May.
The Hellåga rest area lies by the Sjonafjord, with steps that curve gently down the steep rocks to the water.
See if the fish are biting, and enjoy the view of the fjord landscape. Its striking service building has the shape of a wave, built as a unique concrete structure with a façade covered in tempered glass. The site also has a waste-dumping station for camper vans.
