Situated at the highest point of Valdresflye, with panoramic views in all directions, is Flye 1389.
In the café, you can enjoy local food from Valdres and Gudbrandsdalen while admiring the view of peaks such as Besshøe, Høgdebrotet, Tjønnholstinden and Rasletinden. Flye 1389 is a good starting point for hiking or cross-country skiing, and here you can also rent equipment for such activities.
The mountain café is run by the Norwegian Trekking Association and the hosts at Gjendesheim Tourist Lodge.
