Farstadanden in Hustadvika is an easily accessible recreation area along Scenic Route Atlanterhavsvegen. Its rich bird and plant life and characteristic sand dunes give the area a uniqueness that is worth preserving. Farstadbukta bay area is therefore protected as a nature reserve.
From the beach at Farstadsanden you can take a 2.5 km walk (one way) out to Nordneset Lighthouse. The coastal trail starts at the end of the beach and follows the coastline to the lighthouse. The walk is quite an experience, in sunshine as well as in stormy weather.
