Brunstranda rest area is located along the E10 in Flakstad municipality.
The white sandy beach surrounded by Flakstadøya’s spectacular mountain ranges makes it a popular destination all year round.
In 1995, a rest area was built at Brunstranda, well sheltered from the E10 by a grassy embankment. A new service building has now been built here, containing toilet facilities and a lounge that provides shelter from the wind and weather. Walkways and parking areas have been upgraded and new picnic furniture provided, with a great view towards the sea.
