Mortensnes cultural heritage area is a large attraction with a museum in Nesseby municipality in Finnmark.

The area is considered one of the richest and most diverse heritage sites in Europe, and has an extensive network of specially prepared cultural trails.

The trails show traces of settlements from the Neolithic Period, a large pre-Christian burial ground, sacrificial sites, trapping pits and various other trapping systems.

Through the Scenic Routes initiative, the museum has received a comprehensive upgrade to the parking area, the trails in the landscape and the access to the museum from Norwegian Scenic Route Varanger.
